Welcome to World Team of Poker!

The place where teams gather to compete for the title of "The best team in poker". Do you think your group (forum, friends, clans, or team) have what it takes to claim this prestigious title? If so read on. For years we searched for just such a league, and in voicing our search to other forums found out we were not alone. So finally we invented the W.T.O.P.

Our goal is to bring teams from around the world to compete in this event, and with each following year we plan to grow more and more. The league itself is open to all teams to enter (see our rules and guidelines for participation http://www.worldteamofpoker.com/index.php?topic=144.0) and compete. As a sponsor of this event Fearnoace is committing a prize package total of $5000.00 based on a minimum of 20 teams for the 1st season, we hope to have 3 full seasons with the grand prize being entry and accommodations to next years W.S.O.P. Team event for the top 3 players in the league!{based on league participation} So this isn't simply a battle for the prestige of being number one, we are also going to give the number one players a chance to prove to the world just how good they are!

Fearnoace will be the host for all league events.
Fearnoace is working side by side with the W.T.O.P. to bring to all players a new arena in the poker experience. We feel this league will not only provide a long needed new venue, but will also improve the levels of play in the individual as his team members comment constructively on the weeks performance in their team board (visible only to team members of that team).

The League Code of Conduct
Though this is a competitive league all members will at all times obey the rules of the League and Fearnoace as well. Rudeness, bad language, and unsportsmanlike like conduct will not be tolerated. All teams and team members must read and agree to the rules. We want this League to be a place for good poker players to have a great time, and not have to be subject in anyway to abuse.

With prizes like this what is it going to cost me your wondering?
There will be no entry fee this year for teams or individuals, each team player will simply pay his entry fee into each tournament, the anticipated average will be about $1.50 per tournament, with a twelve week season. We are planning on running 3-4 different leagues per year and each having their own great cash rewards. From there on out participation will dictate our rewards system. What’s more is just like any other tournament the winners of that event will win the amount paid into each event. (example: if the buy in is $1.50 with .25 going to the house, the remaining entry will be awarded as prize money to that event.)

It cant get any better can it?
We thought it should. So each and every week all team members will compete for a 100.00 freeroll. In addition the top 6 players from all teams will compete for a weekly $40.00 freeroll, and the top team will get their own $20.00 freeroll each week.
